Security measures at Sundays Russian Grand Prix could result in interference in the British television coverage provided by BBC and Sky prior to the arrival of Vladimir Putin.

With Formula One preparing for its inaugural race in Sochi the host city for the 2014 Winter Olympics both broadcasters have been informed that Russian security forces will scramble radio frequencies to avert the threat of any potential bomb being activated, ensuring cameras and radio microphones would be temporarily out of action.
