Marussia officially go out of business after failing to find a buyer

Approximately 200 jobs are lost at Banbury-based team Marussia had gone into administration on 27 October

The Formula One team Marussia have officially gone out of business, with the loss of more than 200 jobs, administrators said in a statement on Friday.

The Banbury-based organisation was placed in administration on 27 October and despite stringent efforts over the last few days to find a buyer and keep the team afloat, they have ultimately come to nothing.
