Blow for Hamiltons hopes of winning drivers championship Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg will start in pole position

Lewis Hamilton suffered another unfortunate blow to his title hopes after his Mercedes engine caught fire in Hungary qualifying, ending his session and meaning he will start at the rear of the grid for Sundays race.

The British driver was on his first qualifying lap when smoke billowed from his car, forcing him to pull over and jump out before flames engulfed his Mercedes.
