Lewis Hamilton has joined the majority of people in Formula One by criticising the decision to award double points for the final race in Abu Dhabi on 23 November, a change which could make a lottery of the climax to the championship.
Hamilton, who leads his Mercedes team-mate and only title rival, Nico Rosberg, by 17 points with three races remaining, having won nine in total, said on Thursday: You get to the last race, with all the work you have done through the season, and then you dont get off the line, or your car goes on fire in qualifying.
