Caterhams André Lotterer puts dreams over dosh for Formula One debut

There is often little pleasure to be gained from driver changes in Formula One, particularly at the lower end of the grid, where seats switch for pounds over pace and with conveyor belt regularity that whispers to the sound of cheque books opening. The sport still has passion, of course. Lewis Hamiltons honest emotions are proof of that, but on Sunday it will be on the grid in spades at the bottom end too.
When André Lotterer, a three-time winner of the Le Mans 24 Hours, makes his F1 debut for Caterham, he will do so as a full-time professional racing driver finally fulfilling a lifelong dream, and not being paid a bean.
